Frank Collard (Université Paris Ouest Nanterre) : Empoisonnement et tempérament dans les traités des poisons de l’Occident latin.
 
Maaike van der Lugt (Université Paris Diderot) : L’invention de la complexion radicale (vers 1150-vers 1350).
 

Healthy Living in Pre-Modern Europe: The Theory and Practice of the SIx Non-Naturals, c.1400-1700 (London, 13-14/09/2013)

This conference seeks to bring together scholars working on topics related to the role played by the six Non-Naturals in health maintenance 

Aristotelian Natural Philosophy in the Early Modern Period (Brussels, 23-24/05/2013)

Early modern philosophers liked to debate about Aristotle just as much as medieval scholars. They had different sources to fuel their discussions:
from the humanist preoccupation with a pristine Aristotle and a purification of a corpus perceived as corrupted to the very medieval doctors that others sought to forget. This conference aims at reconstructing the various ways in which Aristotle's natural philosophical books were read and used to nourish various philosophical agendas.
